Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
1. The service
Rebound provides hosted email relay, mailbox and messaging services for reboundrelay.com and domains you connect, and lets you read and send from other email accounts you choose to connect. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and everything done through it. Keep your password and two-factor codes secure and tell us promptly if you think your account was accessed without permission. Team and enterprise accounts are responsible for the members they invite. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Rebound to:
- send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, phishing, scams, malware or anything deceptive;
- impersonate a person or organization, or send mail you have no right to send;
- harass or threaten anyone, or send or store unlawful content, including content that sexually exploits children;
- send to purchased or scraped lists, or ignore unsubscribe and opt-out requests;
- probe, overload or try to break the service, or work around limits or enforcement actions;
- connect an email account you do not own or are not authorized to use.
4. Enforcement
To protect users, recipients and the service we may, with or without notice where the risk is urgent: remove content, limit or pause sending, lock an account so it cannot be used, or terminate it. Only Rebound can lift a lock. Where practical we will tell you what happened and why, and you can reply to support@reboundrelay.com to ask us to review it. We are not required to give notice when the law prohibits it or when doing so would put others at risk.
5. Legal holds and disclosure
If we reasonably believe an account was used to break the law or these terms, or we receive valid legal process, we may place the account under a legal hold. While a hold is in place, the account and its data cannot be deleted by you or removed by our normal cleanup, and we may preserve and disclose its contents and records to the appropriate internal teams, affected parties, regulators or law enforcement as the law permits or requires. We review requests for validity and, where the law allows, will notify you. We may also disclose information to prevent imminent harm to a person.
6. Pausing and deleting your account
You can deactivate your account in Settings: you are signed out everywhere and signing in again reactivates it. Deactivating is not a lock and removes nothing.
You can delete your account in Settings. Your addresses are released immediately and may be claimed by others, and any connected email accounts are disconnected. You can restore the account yourself for 90 days using the link we email you; we then keep the data for up to 180 days in total so we can help recover it, after which it is permanently removed. Restoring brings back any addresses that are still free. A locked account or an account under legal hold cannot be deleted or restored by its holder.
7. Connected accounts
If you connect another email account, you authorize Rebound to sign in to it on your behalf to show you and send your mail. We store only an encrypted sign-in credential, read the mailbox live and do not keep a copy of its messages. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the saved credential. You remain responsible for that account and for following its provider's terms.
8. Limits
Plans carry limits on addresses, daily sending and storage. We may enforce rate limits and quotas to protect the service and other customers. An address that is neither used nor receiving mail for 90 days may be released. A released address is never given to anyone else; it stays reserved so only you can claim it again.
9. Your content
You own your mail and content. You give us only the permission needed to store, process, deliver and display it to run the service for you, and to do what these terms and the law require.
10. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that mail will always be delivered. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them. You can stop using the service at any time; we may end the service to you for the reasons above or on reasonable notice.
